Soldier returns home in search of the peace that he lost overseas.
Lobby Washington, a U.S. Army Veteran, returns home from serving in OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. He struggles with the guilt of killing an Iraqi child. Back in Brooklyn, New York, everything and everyone is a constant reminder of his deployment in Iraq. With the help of a homeless veteran, a random civilian female and his younger brother, Lobby learns to accept what he can't change.
Born and raised in East Flatbush Brooklyn, Nuria grew up with the passion to tell stories. After joining the army and doing a tour in Iraq in 2003, her entire perspective on life completely changed and she knew she had to pursue her creative goals.
Nuria started her production company, 1 Soul Productions, in 2010; directing, shooting and editing music videos. Once she was ready to move on to narrative films, she enrolled in SVA MPS, Live action Short Film program, where she was able to write and direct / produce her first short film REDEPLOY under the guidance of industry stalwarts, including Bob Giraldi, Kathryn Roupp and Michael Holman.
Nuria is currently in pre production to package a Drama series titled “Redeploy,” based on her first short film. She is also in production on her first animated series "Ethan Art- Venture", starring an international voiceover cast member Benzly Hype, and due to be completed by 2020
Her goal continues to be "to tell stories that are therapeutic, that have the potential to change someone's life for the better"
Kade Wise is an Algerian-American actor. After immigrating from the Mediterranean during Algeria's Civil War, his family resided in Brooklyn, New York for 25 years. He has worked on projects for Fox, Netflix, Showtime, USA and A&E alongside names such as Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Ryan Phillippe, Omar Epps, Claire Danes, Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Danny Trejo and more. A trilingual triple threat, Kade speaks Arabic and Spanish and regularly advocates for diversity in Hollywood. He is represented by Untitled Entertainment.
Nanda Abella is an Argentinean actress with experience working in the US, France and Spain (She speaks English, French and Spanish) Her film credits includes Gertrude in Hamlet, Son of a Kingpin; Melinda in The Widowers, and Adriana in El Pelotudo. In 2011, Nanda was nominated as best actress in drama by the Association of Latin Entertainment Critics of New York for her portrayal of Gelsomina in the stage adaptation of Fellini's La Strada. She has trained at the Susan Batson Studio and HB Studio in NYC. Nanda is training as a flamenco and tango dancer. Apart from her acting career, Nanda holds a masters degree in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris, a renowned French university, and has worked for several years in that field.
